La Boca (means The Mouth)

The supply pastor in the village of La Boca leading the Sunday services.

Mountains and homes in La Boca.

Visiting after lunch.

This was our delicious Mexican lunch (or as they call it - "comida," which means "food). We had rice (it is reddish, with a few peas and carrots), mole (chicken in a spicy gravy), and tortillas.

I visited this little building a few times. :-)

The church in La Boca was built by Mennonites many years ago.

Love these pictures - I can't wait to visit La Boca when we get back!
That food makes me hungry.

Beth, you crack me up! I'm curious...because I don't see a sign, how do you know which "building" is which? Is the women's on the left because the "peep hole" is longer??? Just guessing since most ladies are shorter than men. Also, I love the photo of all the men standing around talking.

Tamra - If you enlarge the pic, you'll see "Caballeros" written in black on the "building" on the left. That's the men's. Very faintly written in white is "Damas" on the building on the right. That's the ladies'. It is a 2-seater! :-)
The picture of the men talking, wearing their white cowboy hats, is my favorite!

Ok, I did see the signs once the photo was enlarged. Just one more question...is the ladies room a "private" 2-seater? Or, should I not ask? LOL!!! Just trying to get a feel of what you all have to experience. :)

The 2-seater is one large board with 2 holes. No partition. :-)Bring your own TP!

Love seeing and hearing about your adventures in Mexico! Neat pics that you have posted!
(Not so sure that I could "chat" with my lady friends as we shared a 2-seater! LOL! Oh my goodness!)

When Marc and Melodie were at our church recently I asked them about the possibility of those little rooms because it didn't look like the church buildings had room for them. Now I have a visual :-)
