Visiting Plymouth

We visited the site were the Pilgrims disembarked The Mayflower after their voyage from Europe.

A replica of The Mayflower. It seemed very small to make such a long trip across the ocean.

These are a Few of Our Favorite Things

Nothing thrills our heart like seeing the "Hot Now" sign at Krispy Kreme. :o)

These doughnuts melt in your mouth.

We'll drive for miles to get to Whataburger.

I especially like their chocolate shakes. They're so thick and yummy!

Here we parked our jeep in utopia - a parking lot between Whataburger and Krispy Kreme.

Family Picnic at Spring Mill State

My parents live in Indiana, my sister and family live in Alaska, my brother and family live in Mexico, as do we. Because we live so far apart, we rarely have the opportunity to spend time together. But, this summer we were all able to meet in Indiana to celebrate with my parents, the completion of their 30 years of ministry at Faith Mission Church in Bedford. Then on Monday, we enjoyed a great day at one of our favorite places: Spring Mill State Park in Mitchell, Indiana.

Marci (Miller) Webb (she's Melodie's sister, and married to my cousin, Anthony Webb), Vonnie (Sankey) Bryan, Melodie (Miller) Sankey and I cheering our dad, husbands, and kids during their softball game.

My mom and her sister, Deb (Ferguson) Collins watch the game, as well.

Traveling through the Southeast

It was a joy for us to be with Pastor and Mrs. Randall Crotts at the Glencoe Bible Methodist Church.

Some of the congregation after the service. We love these people!

We stopped by Mt. Ivah to see Pastor and Mrs. Arthur Marchant.

More Travels Through Alabama

We had a great missions' service with Pastor Doug Eads at Ada Chapel.

Steve receiving Spanish Bibles from Mark Simmons. It is a privilege for us to distribute these to the many people in Mexico who don't have their own Bible.
