Elotes

One of the favorite foods in Mexico is elotes.

This is what it looks like:

Here we are on a youth outing eating elotes.

Here's how it is done: Boil or grill corn, spread with mayonnaise, and sprinkle with chili powder. I have also eaten it with the corn cut off the cob, sprinkled with lime juice, and then topped with mayonnaise and chili powder. So good!! You should try it.

Oh my!!! I love fresh corn on the cob, but with butter and salt! :) Don't know if I have the nerve to try that or not! May have to take your word for it!!! :)

Jonathan always eat corn on the cob w/ mayo. =) It took me awhile to try it, but I love it now. =) I don't usually put chili on it though.

That sounds kind of like some of the salads we might have here in the States, so it doesn't sound too weird to me.

I think I would like the lime juice.

I will definitely try it, if it is offered, when I come in December. The lime juice is what sounds the best to me!!
