I always get really scared when people come to our house. So, I had worked myself up into quite a state by Saturday evening. Kent was also a little anxious, and when the carloads began to arrive he started quoting Scripture under his breath, "The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want...Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for Thou are with me." It was hilarious!

Beth, this is awesome! You needn't to have worked yourself up...looks like you did a fantastic job of entertaining the young people!
I'm sure they had a wonderful time - I can't wait to get back to Mexico!
Love you all....
Oh, I enjoyed this post. So nice to see the good group of young people. Blessings!

You, my dear sister, are alot like me, and might I say, we are both our Mother's daughters. People do not like to be around me when I have people over. Poor Kent... he probably thought he was walking through the valley!!! hahaha I think I have already said this but, I just love the color of your house... it looks so .... Mexican!! :)
Looks like the kids were having a blast...great that you had them over! (Such CUTE young people!) I always think that the anticipation of having someone over IS a bit scary...once they get there...it's usually fun! :) Hilarious that your son quoted that particular scripture!
I am the same way before my company steps through my door! (although, like an above comment, I do believe it looks as if you had everything under control!
I will try to remember to quote Scripture when the next batch of company arrives! Loved it! :-)
Looks like Kent is still the tallest fella around ;) I'm sure you were nervous, but ya'll always have done a fantastic job with young people! Must be because you're young yourselves...at least young at heart!
That's so funny that Kent would quote that verse. I feel that way too when I have people over, so I know exactly how you felt!
Looks like you all did a great job hosting. Those games look like a lot of fun.
