Every time we go through Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, we pass this little home. It is right on the banks of the Rio Grande, facing toward the US. It serves to remind me to count my blessings and know that I am blessed.

That sure puts things into perspective!
Wow, how sad! Do you think it's actually someone's home?
I'm counting my blessings...God has been soooo good to me! ~ Thanks for the reminder.
In answer to Kelly's question: Almost every time we go by, there is a man there. We have seen him cooking over a little fire he has made or just standing, as Steve says, "Casting a wistful eye, to the 'Promised Land'," so close and yet so far way. It's sad.
Sad
That's a place I've never been - Nuevo Laredo. That's unreal that someone lives there. Thank you, Lord, for Your blessings on me.
That is unreal!
