Las Palmas and 201

There are several other Bible Methodist Churches in this rural section of the state of Oaxaca. These were all started by Pastor Desi of the San Gabriel Church, but now have their own pastors and congregations.

This is the Las Palmas Bible Methodist Church.

The people of Oaxaca are so thankful for the generosity of the Greensboro, Alabama congregation who graciously donated their van to the work of the Lord in Mexico.

When the road becomes impassable by vehicle, the van is parked, and everyone hikes the rest of the way.

Shane Craycraft, Tim Keep and Marc Sankey walking to church.

The Bible Methodist Church at 201 (so named for its kilometer location along the trail).

Isn't it exciting to see churches giving birth to new congregations?! It is good to see the work growing. I would like to get on your mailing list, if possible. My kids love to read missions newsletters. Let me know what I need to do.
By the way, you would have been really proud of a couple of your nephews this week...their music was such a blessing at student convention! Loved it!
