Well, as you can see, we have our girl safely in her room at GBS. She seems to be doing ok. But, I miss her like crazy! Thank the Lord for cell phones - we are burning up the lines!
Great pictures! I'm sure its a big adjustment -- But thankfully there are cell phones & mobile to mobile!! :-) I can't imagine my little girl so far away from me. :-( I guess I have a while to worry about that, though!
Cute room! It brought back memories of taking Melinda to GBS. Sorry we missed seeing you here in Bedford. You know how it is with us-sometimes out of town more than we are here. )<:
Remarkably similar to Melinda's room. Deja vu! And we didn't have cell phones -- or blogs, or e-mail or . . . We were a lot closer, though, so managed to pay Melinda a visit now and then and bring her home.
We DID miss seeing you in Bedford when you came through. Maybe next time.
That ritual of seeing them settled in is very needful for us moms, especially, isn't it? I know what you're feeling, Beth....praying for you, too! Trying out those wings can invole some "unsure moments", though....and its great to have that "instant connection"! Take care!
Glad I found your blog, Beth! I will enjoy keeping up with you better this way! Isn't it a great way to keep in touch!? I feel for you in this time of major adjustment. Can't really know just how it feels, but I don't look forward to it for my own sake! I'm sure it helps some to focus on the joy our kids feel at stepping out into the world, testing their wings. Blessings!
Good grief....when did Kent get to be so tall? I'm sure you are missing your little girl..... Love your family picture at the bottom of your blog! Glad you are all safe and happy!
That sure brings back fond memories of my year at G.B.S....I hope that she is loving it! What a special time in her life! I know you all are missing her!
It was good to see Maria at GBS recently, and at church last sunday. I lived relatively close to my parents when at GBS, and called them almost every night :)

The room looks awesome. I can't imagine how badly you're missing her. It must be terrible, but I am thankful for the cell phone thing!! :)
Love the pics! and the people in them, too! Maria has cute decorating taste.
Miss you, Maria!
