Before we moved to Texas we attended Faith Mission Church in Bedford, Indiana. FMC has been my home church since we returned from Central America in 1975. My dad became Pastor in 1979. Steve became Associate Pastor in 1989. The new church was built in 2004. It is a beautiful church, filled with wonderful people and it was a great place to raise our children.

These are beautiful pictures! I'm glad you posted them. Even though I didn't grow up at FMC I have grown to love the people and have sensed God's presence there in the services so many times.
Love ya!

Beautiful!! Love the church building... it is gorgeous, but my favorite is still all the wonderful attendees who make up the body of Christ!! And the pastor and his wife are just awesome!!!!!
That is truly a beautiful church! I am sure that you miss being there at times...May God bless your family in your efforts for Him! Hope that you are having a great day!
I cannot believe I've never even seen the new church! Don't get around much anymore...
Beth,
We do miss having you around, seeing your smiling faces. But we are so proud of you, for following the call of God on your lives! Hope you can come home soon for a visit...love you guys!
Wow - that IS a beautiful church. I'm really curious - what is happening in the first picture?
Brenda, that is our school chime choir. The instruments sound similar to bells, but are hollow metal tubes of varying lengths, with little mallets that produce the sound.
We heard your dad preach at the NHA Camp a couple of weeks ago. I was curious as to what the new church looked like...thanks for sharing! It is gorgeous! I was only at Bedford once, and that was with GBS choir either 11 or 12 years ago. Time flies!
