I've been tagged

Michelle has "tagged" me, and since I'm bored out of my gourd, and have nothing else to do but tell you 7 random things about me, here goes:

1. I was born in Guatemala and have lived in Honduras, the US, and soon Mexico.
2. I like to be alone.
3. I join Michelle (Hight) in the trauma of seeing Tom the Turkey die so that I could eat Thanksgiving dinner in Honduras, where they've never heard of Thanksgiving. My mom (she is something else!) wielded the instrument of death and the huge galvanized washtub was full of blood. I'll never forget!
4. None of my family lives near me (south Texas). My brother is 500 miles away (Mexico). My Mom and Dad are 1400 miles away (Indiana) . And my sister is 5000 miles away (Alaska). I miss them, but I love living in Texas.
5. I think 25 is the perfect age.
6. I don't like to procrastinate.
7. I am a morning person.

Nice to "hear" from you again. Glad you found something to do for your boredom. (<: I'm sure Texas is a lot different from Bedford!

Beth, I enjoyed the 7 random things about yourself. I am a morning person as well. I used to arise at 3:00 AM to study for tests while at GBS, and I would be singing while taking a shower, etc. and then if someone happened to stumble to the bathroom, I'd greet them with a "Good Morning! =D" To which I'd be greeted back with a GROAN!!! =)

Love, Heather =)

Hi, I'm glad to see you back on the blog...but I understand that your computer went on the "fritz", anyway it was worth the wait. I'll have to check out this "tagged" thing and see what people are saying..that is with regards to your comment about me killing the thanksgiving turkey. Well, you know some traditions are hard to break...so sorry I traumatized your little life(smile). But don't forget you think that my turkey stuffing is the best in ALL the world!! Love, Mom

oh, by the way....for anyone who cares. When Beth says she's bored, don't believe it...she's never known a boring day in her life. Remember, she loves to be alone!!! So don't feel sorry for her. She's just kidding you!!! Spoken by her "something else" mother.

Oh the trauma of the Thanksgiving turkey... I seem to remember a chase being involved. Seemed as if ol' Tom knew his fate and he thought he could reverse it. But alas, Mom and A. Judy were faster than the turkey. Hmmmm... where were Dad and U. Gary????

Oh goodness... poor Tom the turkey but I guess around here if it was traumatizing to see bloody freshly killed meat, then we'd have some pretty traumatized children. So far there has been quite a bit of wild game this year. Michael is on a roll! Good thing we have all boys huh (who think the blood is really cool). And I am desensitized. I just go with the flow.
Not surprised about you being a morning person. I am not but I am working on it! Oh and guess what! I actually made it EARLY to prayer meeting this week too. Your dad looked surprised when I greeted him in the hall before church. Aren't you proud of me?!
Thanks for the comments on my blog. I'll tell Susanne what you said.
Love ya!

Glad you're back in blogworld! Missed ya. I enjoyed reading the seven random facts. I, also, like alone time. A girl just needs time to think, right? I guess we both had to adjust when our little ones were toddling around calling, "maw-mah..." every few minutes! Well, my oldest did that. The youngest just scooted a chair around the house and made funny faces.
Enjoyed the pictures in your newsletter and in the last post.
