This is the home where the guys stayed while they were ministering in San Gabriel de Mixtepec, Oaxaca

February Trip - Part 18

February Trip - Part 17

February Trip - Part 16

 

After 6 hours of traveling from Oaxaca City to San Gabriel, the guys drove about 45 minutes farther to their first service of the evening.

After the service in Santa Maria, they drove another 30 minutes to have a service in Los Mangales. Many people gathered outside the mission.

 

And a nice, attentive group gathered inside. Love those kids on the front row, taking it all in.

February Trip - Part 15

February Trip - Part 14

Missionary Steve Stetler, Missions Director Tim Keep and Pastor Bernardo, loading up the vehicle for the trip from Oaxaca City to San Gabriel.

 

But, before they leave they discover that the brakes need to be replaced, so Steve begins the repairs ...

... with Pastor Dolores' help. A young man from the church comes to help and they are soon on their way.

Back on the road, they pass a fruit stand selling sugar cane and coconuts.

These girls are using an umbrella to shield themselves not from rain, but from bright sunlight.

A line of small taxis and their drivers wait in the shade for customers.

On a dirt road, the men pass a farmer traveling on his wagon pulled by a donkey.
